The Story Behind Our Teak
At Teak World, every piece begins long before it reaches our workshop. Our teak wood is sourced from Indonesia, where we work with both responsibly harvested teak and reclaimed wood gathered from old houses and traditional wooden boats.
These are not just materials. They are fragments of history.
The beams from old homes have witnessed generations of life, while the wood from boats has traveled across waters, shaped by time, salt, and sun. Each mark, grain, and imperfection tells a story that cannot be replicated by new wood.
We carefully select and reclaim these materials, preserving their character while giving them a new purpose. Through skilled craftsmanship, the wood is restored, strengthened, and transformed into furniture that blends heritage with modern living.
Alongside our furniture, we also create teak doors from reclaimed wood. These doors carry the same depth and authenticity, turning architectural elements into statement pieces that bring warmth and identity into a space.
Every piece at Teak World is unique. No two grains are the same, no surface is identical, and that is what makes our work special. It is furniture with a past, designed to be part of your future.
By choosing reclaimed teak, we not only celebrate craftsmanship and natural beauty, but also take a more thoughtful approach to sustainability by giving new life to materials that already exist.
